Keeping the windows open?

New here Looking for some suggestions for a device to keep windows open on our Ford E-450 shuttle bus conversion. Are there some sort of gas shocks that are the right size and mount to glass? Thanks in advance!

Do they open up or out (Slide up or swing out)
If they slide up a dowel rod under the window. You can get fancy so it sits in the nitch and you need to "Bow" it a bit to get it in and out so it won't pop out when you drive. Slight notch (like an arrow) on the ends.
