Heard in several places today that Monaco has bought drawings and other pieces of National RV for $200,000.  The National RV home page has an announcement from Monaco Coach Corporation, so that would substantiate the previous reports.

That photo is one of the Monaco buildings in Indiana. Here's a photo of Chris outside the same building. My camera skills are not so good.

Looks like Monaco is trying to entice National owners to join the Monaco fraternity.

I'll bet Monaco was interested in some of the National patents like the telescoping slides that extend an extra 50%. The website URL was probably thrown in the deal.

It would probably be a good thing for those owners of National products if Monaco does get a good chunk of the National pie.

I, too, think it was for the patents.  That's the same reason they bought Holiday Rambler in the 90s.
