Pemetic Mountain hike Acadia NP pics

Yesterday we hiked 3.8 miles from Jordan Pond to Pemetic summit and then to Bubble Pond where the Island Explorer bus picked us up.
It took us about 3 hours, we enjoyed lunch at the summit, bananas and some almond butter. Lol we packed light.

Acadia NP and Mount Desert Island are a scenic wonderland. For 5 years we camped/lived there for the entire summer and never tired of it.

Thanks, we are on our 4th year and really enjoy the island, always something to do. I work at the campground and DW runs her programming business from the campsite.
Where did you stay?

We stayed at Narrows II, the big park on the mainland right by the bridge onto the island. Convenient to both Mt Desert and Trenton/Elsworth, and the island shuttle stops there regularly. The downside is it's a big open parking lot, though it does have a water view.

We have friends that used to work there many years ago, they are the ones who told us to come to Maine.

Funny thing. My brother went to Maine a few years ago. Ate so much lobster in all forms that he hasn't eaten it since.

Lol, I'm not a big fan of lobster, maybe 2 a season and only at the campsite.
