RV with 18 month old

Hello,

We're traveling in a Cruise America C25 with our 18 month old daughter. Can anyone that has travelled with young children advise on what car seats are best? I am thinking of a front facing with the latch and lap belt to tighten?

Also can a pack and play fit on the floor or on the dinette?

From what I’ve read front facing and definitely not side facing.

Keeping an 18 mo sitting still for more than 20 minutes is going to the challenge. But, according to my granddaughter the Pediatric Nurse, not sideways. "Front or back facing, either one, as long as they can make eye contact and see out the window, they should be somewhat manageable. Good Luck."

Unless things have changed, rear facing is safer but part of the issue is where you plan to put the seat. Are you using the front passenger sear?
