Wondering if anyone has experience I have an 08 Kodiak 5500 super c Seneca
I installed four LED headlights which caused my turn signals to stop working any ideas

Hi & welcome to the new RVForum.

What was involved in the replacement? Any wiring changes, or was it plug and play? Obviously something changed.

What about tech support from the led headlamp manufacturer? Any help there?

I have an 06 Seneca also on the C5500 chassis. I've also replaced my headlamps with LED but did not encounter issues with my turn signals.

Can you describe more about the turn signals not working?

Both left and right sides?

Are none or some of the signal lamps working (hood-mount, side, rear?)

Do the emergency flashers work?

Do you get the left/right signal marker in the gauge cluster when you engage the turn signal? What about clicking from the flasher unit?

First place I'd check is the fuse box - it's behind the knee panel, passenger side of the cab.

Thanks for the help the install was plug and play according to the manufacture have had no issues with turn signals before I have nothing on the dash nothing in the back nothing in the front no flasher relay sound nothing didn't check the flashers I'll go do that wondered if there was a flash turn signal relay. I don't have a wiring diagram to verify

Just checked flashers they work as normal. Rear lites worked too.

Brake lites work to the rear
Mines an 08.
i dont have a fuse box under the rt or left knee panels

Yes, there is a fuse box under the passenger knee panel. There are two 10mm bolts that hold the panel in place. It will need to be removed to access those fuses. There are also fuse boxes under the hood; would be good to check those as well.

Your brake lights use a separate bulb than the turn signals. It's good that the brake lights are working, but that may not tell much about the turn signal circuit.

When you replaced the headlamps did you do any other modifications to wiring or the signal harness for the hood-mounted lights? It seems unlikely that simply replacing the headlamps would cause this.

Thanks do you know of a good older seneca forum

Thanks do you know of a good older seneca forum

Two come to mind for our first-generation Senecas.

The first is more chassis-oriented for the GMT560 / Chevy Kodiak and all things for our trucks:
Dieselplace.com has a great Medium Duty forum.

Seneca-specific... Jaycoowners.com is the Jayco Owner's forum and there is a first-generation Seneca group on there that can help you dig deep!
