A few questions on RV gray and black tanks.

And make all your showers navy showers. What that means is:

1) wet down quickly then shut the water off.

2) Soap up all over

3) Rinse off quickly. Then shut the water off.

I’ve done it this way many times and found I only use about 3 gallons of water.
 
Could you kitchen sink drain be clogged or almost clogged? If that is true, it is possible that the gurgling could be caused by air being pushed out of it.

The tank was full. My wife took a shower and it stopped draining at the end.

That was how we showered. We strategically planned the routine beforehand.
 
Quick update: We had the tanks emptied. I went to Ace and bought the cap with a hose adapter that Gary posted above. Our tank is now slowly draining in the drain that I included a picture of in the op.
