Water heater

Hello, I just bought a Thor Quantum and refilled my propane twice, every time I refill propane the hot water heater does not turn on. This time around it is not turning on. Someone please help. Thank you

what brand of water heater is it?

do any other gas appliances work? Stove, refer, heater?

have you found a manual and done any of troubleshooting?

@8Muddypaws Good point.. so here goes…
Not sure what brand it is. All’s I know is that it’s a brand new 2021 Thor Quantum SE so whatever crap they put in it.

stove works
Heater works
Bled the lines a few times
Checked the breakers
Checked the fuses
Still Nothing
Still showering in cold water…

Take it a k to the dealer. Should be covered by a warranty.

If you open the outside access to your water heater you will see a tag that lists the manufacturer and model.

How did you bleed the lines? If the stove lights it has propane but if it was run completely out it would be normal to have to turn the water heater on, let it try it's 3 times and fail, 2 or 3 times before all air is out and it will stay on to complete heating the water.

I would agree with that. If it is less than a year old they should be willing to help you.

I learned a couple of things in my first year that might help. Our unit has an emergency shutoff switch that the gas station attendant sometimes switches on. Also, occasionally our water heater needs a few "tries" before it lights (after sitting unused for awhile).
