Heh heh. . Well it’s worth a try. A few people in our town got their name on the list. Mostly contractors looking for work trucks. One of the guys in our Tesla group is planning on pulling a small hybrid trailer with canoe carrier type set up. Should be interesting to see how it turns out.

I know you say this in jest, but over on one of the Charger groups I'm on, some guy joined the forum and asked a bunch of questions about what kind of Charger he should get, this, that, etc, and then it started getting kind of silly (read: stupid). And then we found out that he was 41 years old, still living with his mother, and riding the bus to work. Because he didn't have his driver's license yet. Okay, that is kinda weird, but the stupid part comes when he posted the link to his GoFundMe he opened so he could buy the Charger of his dreams...a brand new Dodge Charger Hellcat (about $75K or so, even back then). And if I remember correctly, he lived in Ontario, or somewhere in Canada. He did not last long on the forum after that. Oh, and the one or two times I checked his GoFundMe account, he had $0 towards his goal.

There definitely seems to be demand for EV’s. Cadillac opened their pre orders for the first year debut edition for their new Lyriq. Rumour has it the company execs expected they would all be spoken for within a week. 19 minutes after they opened pre-orders they were all sold. Talk about underestimating your market.

Ford is figuring it out and is throwing an extra 1/4 billion at the production problem. Rivian will beat them to market but I would say ford will have higher production numbers within a year. Tesla is bringing up the rear in the truck race, well unless you count Stellantis/Dodge which doesn’t even have a prototype yet.
