I am hooked up city water. Have had fine water pressure for long time. One morning while flushing my rv toilet foot pedal I heard a clunk and water pressure quit. Went back to bed, when I got up again I found there was no pressure in any faucet. Checked outside and no probs. So I took apart and put back together my filter system. Water comes to filter BUT NOT IN NEW FILTER SYSTEM. So do I need another new water filter system or a new toilet faucet valve? Can a faulty toilet faucet valve shut down every faucet in my rv?

The toilet valve does not have any effect on the other faucets in your RV. The problem does appear to be with your filter system. Try bypassing it to see if that makes any difference or take out the filter elements as another test, but I suspect you're going to need to pull it apart again to find the plug.

Welcome to the forum. Together, we’ll figure this out. Just be patient and answer every question that’s asked.

Ok thanks I will try that

Do you have water elsewhere?
The "Clunk" sounds like something in the valve broke

Page 2: Always use a regulator when on city water. Park water may be regulated but on city water AlWAYS use a regualtor.. why.

One park I know that uses city water...120 PSI

I took the filter system out and connected the in water line to the out to faucets line and still no water. Water is getting thru the in line I know because I made the fittings just snug to see if it dripped when I turned the water on. But no water to faucets

If I read this right, if you disconnected the water splice at the filter location, water comes out (at full force?) but no water flow past that point. Your water line is plugged (DUH) somewhere past that point and before the first tee in the supply line because nothing else works. Follow that line to the next fitting and open the line there and check for flow. If none, you have isolated the plug location. Replace that section of water line. If you have flow, continue to the next fitting and repeat.

The fresh water inlet on my coach has a screen integrated with the washer where the hose hooks up. I had one of those blue inline filters come apart internally and fill that screen with chunks of charcoal.

Have you disconnected your water hose from the water hydrant and then turn it on to be sure that you get plenty of water pressure there? Just as a quick test, try and block it with your thumb. If that seems OK then next connect just the hose and see how the pressure is at the end of it.

Thank you Kirk I have plenty of pressure coming in and at the same site for 2year plus. Suddenly one morning toilet flush and thunk not water anywhere.

I only have a filter inside andi checked outside inlet
So if I understand correctly, you have good water pressure from the hose at the RV when not connected but lose it somewhere inside of the RV and you also tried it with no filter element in the canister and that didn't help. Since you said all faucets, I would gather that it means hot water as well. Is there any way that you could plumb around the entire assembly for the water filter? To effect the entire fresh water system the problem has to be near where the water enters the RV.

It just crossed my mind, have you tried using the water pump and water from the potable water tank?

I have leaking PEX fitting(s) it's hard to tell which ones are leaking because the leak appears below the bathroom, but above the hoses, that are all wet, below the coach. I have an endoscope (Inspection camera on a flexible length of hose, like a SPY camera). But while I wait for that.

1. Could this have been caused by too high of water pressure? I do have a pressure regulator on my water hose to the RV. When I turned off the hose it leaked less.

2. can you add a second PEX clamp next to the original one, or a screw clamp in an effort to stop the leak?
Or is the only right way to do this to cut and replace fittings with new ones?

it's hard to tell if there is just one leak up above the storage bins, undercarriage, and the bathroom . It appears that several of the PEX fittings are leaking, but it may all be dripping from above.

Cutting and replacing is going to require cutting through 1 water sink outflow pipe 2" to get to the PEX and possibly cutting a section of the floor out to gain access to the hose where it is leaking.

Water line is not plugged duh! Everything works fine with holding tank water and water pump.

Did you check the valve positions on the manifold for the inlet to your RV? I'm wondering if water hammer could have knocked one of them out of position somehow.

I know ours won't pull water from the holding tank (pump runs continuously) when the valves are configured for city water. The fact that yours will pull from the holding tank makes me wonder if the valves are set right.

Are you still having the issue? Your last comment about it was September 2021....
