Saw this RV skirting article on RV Life. It's an info-mercial rather than a review, but it looks to be a handy tool for those who stay long term in an RV, winter or summer. Basically a set of inflatable air bags that are fit together to form a skirt around the underside of a parked RV. Seems like a great idea - hope it works as well as claimed!

They had a demo unit at the Escapee's Escapade last July in Rock Springs, WY. It was a small Airstream trailer with them around it. While I think that it might work fairly well, I really question keeping them inflated properly with major ambient temperature changes. The other problem that I see is the space to store them and probably the weight. Then the prices are up there too, although the website shows that they have reduced the prices.

I'm curious why you quoted my exact words from my previous thread on this subject. And added no content of your own?

Someone with a special interest to promote their product. Personally I think the whole post should be deleted, but then again I'm not in charge, ;) :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

expensive and where do you store it when not in use??
Indeed seems expensive to me. As for storing, I suspect once deflated they take up less space than the traditional skirts. There is a guy in the RV Park we are currently in who just got them. The one thing I noticed is there seems to be gaps between the adjoining gaps on the corners.

Even deflated there are going to take a lot of room. Might work in a class A with all the compartments, they would take too much room in the basement of my 5W.
I would think gaps are not good the ideas to close it off to hold what heats is there. I saw an add for them and a video (YouTube?) setting up, they are supposed to come in many sizes to fit your RV.

What amazes me is that the original post is from a spammer and this is the second time this month we have discussed this because of a spam posting. This is exactly what they want
I guess I missed the first spam posting -- I only saw Gary's post about it prior to this (different thread, of course), which was what he asked the OP "why" about -- and this "spam" post quoted Gary (without attribution, even).

I'm not sure just how you can know that he is a spammer, but would sure like to learn? I always thought that most people posting spam also supplied a link to the site being promoted. Had we noticed the quote of Gary that was used, we might have suspected something. His name "HasarangaWanindu" does seem rather strange.

Look at some of the names of others, darsben? Show us the link to the other "spamer" post. They got what they want? A discussion on a new RV product on an RV forum. Dastardly spammer!!!

My speculation is that this is their first and only post on a RV Forum, most people don't create a first post as they did to somewhat promote a product as they did.

Spammer will normally have a link to what they are selling or promoting ..... wheres the link? How does the spammer gain from a discussion on the forum. I report spam when they contain links. Yes it could be spam 1 post, and funny name, but where is the gain in starting a discussion?.
