I have a halloween decoration out on my balcony I've had for a good number of years in the RV (not sure it does not predate the rig)
Well I got it out of the ammo case and plugged it in and it only inflated about half way... Now I've patched a leak or two in the past but this time no cuts, no tears, no holes.. The fabric, it appears is so porous the blower can't blow fast enough.. Oh well been a.. Oh wait.

SCOTCH GUARD FABRIC PROTECTOR.. that is designed to "Seal" against water.. Wonder if it would "Seal" enough for the thing to inflate.. Yup, Did .

If it has a blow though outlet, can you restrict the outlet? That would increase the back pressure although if the fabric is getting that thin it may blow it apart - LOL...

The "Outlet' is a zipper. closed. I used a sealant from the paint store meant for concrete so far it's holding... Though it's still a tad "Soft" I think this is the last year for this pumpkin.

Well the sealant did not fix the poor pumpkin either so it's done.
Time to get a new one I guess.
You ever find something that stops the leaks PM me with what it is. I have had to dispose of some blowups in the $150-$200 range when they wouldn't blowup. I strip the motors as I have had them go bad and I can replace one with the salvaged motors.

Well I took the can of concrete sealant. swapped the standard spray nozzle for a locking nozzle from a can of bug fogger. Put it inside the pumpkin, fired up the blower to soft inflate then latched the nozzle and let it spray around INSIDE... That was yesterday. This morning still nice and firm. I do not know if I'll still be able to use it next year but it's solid now.. And I'm sure the sealant is nice and dry as well. Firgured I'd just fog it inside and let the blower send it to avery square inch.

Thank you! I'll give that a try and hopefully not loose another inflatable. I have lost some I really liked and can't find a replacement, seems they are one year only. Even watched for used with no luck.
