I feel like everything I look at is not going to be a slip disconnect, or the arm will not pivot enough, or the wall plate will be bigger than the end of my wall cabinet
If you zoom in on my photos above you can see what the end of the mount looks like. It is not that common but I didn't have to search very hard to find it.

You are right about location and it is important to find the right spot. The board I mounted on is actually plastic. It isn't the prettiest install but I wanted to tie the board into the aluminum frame at the door and at the window at the front. Once the board was solid the mount is solid as heck.

In hindsight I could have made the mount board a lot shorter and only picked up the aluminum frame on each side of the middle window.

The end of the mount is reverse V shaped and the part on the tv is V shaped.

I just ordered a wall mount for RVs with locking arms in every position. Part of what sold me is that it adjusts to 180 degrees and mostly that it comes with two wall mounts so you can quickly relocate the TV. My only concern is the small wall plate with only two screws. It is an advantage as long as it will support my very light 32" TV. It is a little difficult to locate the center of a narrow aluminum frame on a flimsy wall. I'm sure I can find a cabinet or other secure wall. If I mount it on a wall I renovated it is guaranteed secure. :) I could be talked into stepping down to a 27" TV. In fact I could watch movies on 17" laptop.

Nice looking mount. Mine only has a 3 row vertical screw pattern but I think I have either #10 or #8 screws.

You are thinking right about finding a secure frame or cabinet to secure to.

I have getting rained out so I took some inside time to mount this TV wall mount https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F2OZ0VM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I am semi-satisfied with it. I like that it comes with two wall mounts so I can move the TV and arm from the dining table cabinet to the bedroom wall pretty quickly.

I think I would be happier with something a little smaller than a 32" TV but for now, I used what I had in our guest room.

BTW, I have used this system for a couple years at our GA home isolated in the woods. It is far less of a hassle than trying to use your phone as a hot spot, casting or mirroring to a TV when you are away from WiFi. It works flawlessly.

This is for an iPhone but you can do the same with Android. It is an adapter that allows you to hook your TV’s HDMI cable to your phone. Everything from photos to streaming movies and YouTube display on your TV.

I had a old slide-in CRT to inside a cabinet inside our old 2002 Everest 5th wheel... I mounted this tv mount inside the cabinet, with a 40" LCD tv attached... It popped out and swiveled once set up... Very, very sturdy...

Butch,

Ray, I too have a cabinet for an old CRT. Do you have a photo of your set-up? I cannot quite picture it. The TV mount does not look like it would fit in an old compact CRT cabinet.

I'll look thru old pics to see... I don't have the 5th wheel any more, said no new pics, if I don't already have some. The device set back inside the cabinet, bolted to the bottom... I sandwiched the bottom cabinet with some plate steel, making the already sturdy bracket immovable... I took this 5th wheel off-road desert camping a lot, and was never concerned about he tv mounting.

Sorry, I just went thru my old pics, and I don't have any of the installation, but if you have any questions, fire away...

My wife an I are on our first littLe trip. I hooked the tv to the antenna immediately before we left. I tried to crank the antenna up but it felt like it was not going to budge, I glanced at it from a ladder for about 60 seconds but say nothing obvious (like a gorilla sitting on it).

So I did a channel search anyway to see if a strong channel might come in. To my surprise 5 channels came in. We have stopped at 2 different places on this trip and in both places we found at least 4 channels with the antenna still laying on the roof.

Possibly the bolt hinges are rusty or seized, if the antenna hasn't been moved for a long time.

Good thing you still have some channel reception.

I don’t think it has been raised in 13 years.
Figures. When I got "George", the previous owner said he never raised the antenna, so by estimation we assumed that it should've been at least 7 years since the last possible use. I proactively applied to WD40 to the bolts, even though they didn't look rusty and that did the trick for us. It goes up and down smoothly.
