But not new to RV's, have had an RV for 11 years and have a 2020 Thor Omni XG32 right now. We mostly boondock in western Wyoming and Montana, but do hit some national parks and other areas once in a while. Always looking for new places to go.

Welcome.
One nice way to winterize is to take a trip anywhere in this state for the entire winter. I have been in this RV trip for more than two months.
Most of it here in Florida. Have you been to the Everglades? I was there for a couple of weeks in December, was hot and muggy all day and night. With a lot of mosquitoes, of course.

Never been to the everglades, would like to go someday. Been to Florida several times the last time was May of 2020 to buy this current motorhome, all the other times I had flown in and overnighted to catch a international flight the next morning.
