Where our wheels take us!
A good friend of ours in Massena, NY sent us the amazing photo below. The cruise ship is the 665 foot long Viking Octantis, and it's just leaving the Eisenhower lock on the St Lawrence Seaway. The roadway and tunnel below it pass under the lock to Barnhart Island, the home of Robert Moses State Park, one our favorite campgrounds.

Wow, great shot. Too bad you can't post higher res images here! Perhaps a link to an external site.

Pretty cool picture. Looks a little like a UFO. I got one of AT&T stadium when we went there to watch the Cowboys back in 2010. Looks like it's ready to take us to the stars!

How about these two? We were the first tour boat to enter the canyon on Lake Powell that goes to Rainbow Bridge. I got a series of incredible shots.

Once our tour boat went through, the magic was gone. And now, this is probably dry land.

I love those shots where the water is so still. There are lots of good pics taken at Schwabacher Landing in Grand Teton NP, because the water is so still and the mountains in the background make a good shot.

Indeed, I just watched a video where they visited Rainbow Bridge, and yes, its pretty much dry.

I have a real good pic taken at Big Lagoon SP Pensacola FL but cannot find it right now.

It's a good thing you explained the picture, since I couldn't identify much of anything before reading, but it's a nice, very interesting shot. Thanks for sharing that.

Great pictures. How deep was it when you were there?
Have no idea but tour boat was fairly big and had a top deck and lower, inside seating, so I am guessing it had to be at least 10' deep to be safe. It was just a fluke that we hit it when no one else had gone up the canyon to ruffle the water and when there was absolutely no wind. Very rare, but several of us jumped up to the very front of the boat and took dozens of photos. I will never see this again, I think.

Been through that lock a few times never noticed the road/tunnel, but I was usually down at the throttles.

This is probably my best one. Big Lagoon State Park, Pensacola, FL. A trail crosses Alligator Pond on a boardwalk at the very end of it, and its just standing water, the pond was created when they excavated dirt for a high way overpass to Perdido Key.

If you didn't know better you would think the camera was simply upside down.

I have one from an earlier trip that is both the sky and the reflection but I cannot find those now.
