Does anyone have any information on Entegra Odyssey quality? Looking at new one. I am new to motorhomes.

Welcome!

Quality varies with the same made and model, so it depends on your luck. Or hire an RV Inspector.

I am quite happy with my 2022 Energra Vision 70, despite a few minor issues.

Even new, expect a few things to be wrong, regardless of brand and regardless of how much money you spend on a new one.

I have one recommendation. Bring a tire gauge with you and check the sticker inside the RV for the recommended tire PSI.

I have purchased three RVs in my life and had four serious tire issues. More than 100%!

Two tire issues on my new RV, all six tires had more than 100 PSI cold, should be 82 psi. One tire had a bad extender and would not let air in or out and was not possible to check.

After I let out 20 psi, well see here.

Thanks Don, appreciate the comments. Will definitely check in on tires. I have been told that underbelly is a must, yet there is not any underbelly cover on this RV. What are your views on this issue? Thank you

What is it that you are lookng for? The Odyssey is a class C and the term underbelly usually refers to a trailer. What is it that you want to see under the RV? It may have exposed waste tanks but they may be heated.

Every time I am set up, before I leave on the morning just before I leave, I do a walk around CW, then CCW, look up and down and below this RV.

I have no idea what I am looking for, but because of this, I discovered I had a total of two levelling pads missing on two different days on my very first long trip in this 2022 Class A. I wonder how many RVs have leveling pads missing and they have had them missing for years and still have no idea they are missing. And now cannot put on the pads because of excessive damage to the leveler threads.

Entegra used to be considered a top quality unit, but not any more. Since Covid, there have been horror stories about manufacturing defects and the inability to get them repaired.

Proceed carefully, and make to hire an independent inspector before taking delivery.

We love our Entegra Emblem, but are so thankful that it’s pre-Covid.

I was one of the suckers to buy a new Entegra right after the Covid thingy and I only had very small minor complaints that are not even worth mentioning and perhaps were the same on the average as before COVID.

When I got back from my 3-month trip and went back to the RV place most of the shop was out sick with Covid (Reno). They had the parts section closed because everybody was out sick with COVID. And that was post-vaccine (February of this year).

Since I couldn't get my parts, I went to get a haircut. I mean I tried to. But the haircut place was closed also because of everybody being out sick with COVID.

BTW, has ANYBODY here EVER purchased a new RV without a single problem?
