I'm not going to be in the US to help with a Rally so uf there are any volunteers out there just shout!

I wish we were going to be there, but we can't. Will really miss the happy hour around the fire with you all.

I missed Q last year because of my Stroke.

I want to be there this winter and plan on bringing tools and some spare parts for solar in case anyone wants to either do solar or just plan a system and pick up some free parts that were left over from my project.

I do not have the Stacker trailer full of tools anymore but I will bring what I can. I am not talking anyone into working but just saying that with the expertise at Q you can at least plan towards or evaluate a possible solar install if you feel like it.

One of the few rules at Q is that you need to wear a name tag so people will know who you are because most of us use our real name and we might recognize you easier with your Forum name.

Fortunately for me my jacket has a sewed on name tag.

I also have a little surprise planned.

We aren’t sure how early we will get there this time, but we will certainly be there the week of the show. The last Sunday of the show we will be going to the Desert Bar if anyone wants to join us. The last Saturday of the show is always a pot luck, but someone has to step up to tell us what time to provide food. That is the most important organizational step of the rally!

Anyone else plan on bringing along an instrument? I will have my dobro to add to any jams. I will even organize a jam, I can accompany old country and bluegrass.

Well OK Tony I will still bring my stack of cut 2X4s for the fire but nobody keeps that fire going like you do! Larry & Billie
Thanks for the compliment Larry, but I think Kevin and Pam are the real firemasters. I just stepped in this year to give them a rest😁 Going to miss the gathering real bad.

Are you going to miss doing a generator valve lash adjustment using your tailgate as a bench in the middle of a desert .??>>>Dan:rolleyes:.....AAHH the memories....

In the warmth of the desert, you bet I'm going to miss it. It's probably going to be around 40 at home in the UK, not cold by some standards, but cold enough.
