For a full-timer, winter never comes. Southen Florida is in the mid 80's this week. But a bit wet. If you prefer drier Decembers, Yuma, AZ, etc.It goes away, just not quickly enough. Although the older I get the months and years go by way too fast. The clock is ticking.
This same thing happened last year around this time too.
We're down to the 50's here - may have to move further south to Orange County for the durationIt got into the 60s today, brrrrr.

We spent last winter at Ft. Myers Beach. It was a cool winter, two mornings I awoke to see frost on the top of cars. Are you sure there was a winter last near?
If so, I never noticed it.
Notice the date in my message there.

What month was that? I see you were not that far from the 80°F /27°C December Everglades weather, which I had this time last year. Same this year.It was a cool winter, two mornings I awoke to see frost on the top of cars.
I almost forgot . . . . I started to notice the winter when I got to Louisiana when I hit their near record cold. Was quite a bit colder there than 4°C / 40°F.When we were in Florida in December of 2009 it was 4°C.
We were mostly at Kissimee but even the Keys was cold.I almost forgot . . . . I started to notice the winter when I got to Louisiana when I hit their near record cold. Was quite a bit colder there than 4°C / 40°F.
What part of Floridia were you in? The Everglades is quite a bit warmer than up north. But I didn't hit any 4°C / 40°F weather while I was anywhere in Floridia December last year.

Jan. 2022 Weather in January 2022 in Fort Myers, Florida, USA Shows Jan. 30 low was 36°, but our RV park is 2 miles from the fishing pier(whats left of it) on Estero Island, so not as much concrete or water to retain daytime warmth. What month was that? I see you were not that far from the 80°F /27°C December Everglades weather, which I had this time last year. Same this year.
