Battery question

I think you will be happier with the Two Six Volt in series than the two 12 in parallel.
One thing however.. most of the 6V Golf Car type batteries are what we call Flooded Wet Cell.

This means from time to time they need a little Drink of DISTILLED water..
The level. with the battery at full charge should be higher than the top of the plates but no higher than 1/4 to 1/8 inch BELOW the filler tube or the split ring at the bottom of it.. Always leave a little gap... Fill 'em too full and they tend to "Spit" requiring more baking soda and cleanup (outside of the battery) DO NOT GET SODA INSIDE the thing.
 
For me, this is what I'm running, 215Ah for a lot less money than the same brand 230Ah. Sam's Club

Yep. I got one of those too. The helpful people are state trailer made sure I got one.
