Hello!

A family member of mine has a 1984 Terry Resort trailer and has had it hooked up to 220v shore power. While using the microwave it appears that she tripped a breaker and now the power inside the trailer is no longer working, neither 120v or 12v systems. We checked the GFI switch which looks good but for the the life us cannot find a breaker panel anywhere. Under the dinette seat is the power converter, but no apparent breaker panel or switches. Anyone have any experience with this or similar trailers?

Thank you for any help!

Solved it! For any future visitors to this thread, there is a small breaker in the cupboard deep underneath the bed with two switches. They needed to be flipped back and forth.

STOP!!!!

I hope you are hooked up to 110 volt AC and not 220 volt AC. Do they have a 50 amp rv or a 30 amp rv?
Thank you for pointing that out! There is a seperate plug on the side of their home labeled "For travel trailer use only". They assumed it was a 220v outlet because it has a washer/dryer style plug, and there is a 30A to 15A adapter plugged into the outlet which is then plugged into the extension cord going to the trailer. Apologizes for the confusion as I am clearly not an expert on RVs or campers but trying to help them by posting here, after doing some research and given that they had been plugged into it for months previously without issue, I realize that they were confused and it is simply a 30 amp outlet and not a 220v source.

There is no 110V power today as the standard has been 120V & 240V since 1967. That said, you probably are connected to an outlet that looks like this one.

That is a 120V, 30A outlet designed for RV use and that is the reason it is labeled the way that yours is. I'd bet that your adapter looks like this one.

This is exactly correct, learning a lot today. And there's another 15A to 30A adapter on the other end at the trailer... I am buying them a proper 30amp cable.
