Can't say I've run into this before.

Wait a minute!! I just figured that out. First I thought that the truck and an empty trailer hit the boat on another trailer. But apparently, the truck stopped, the trailer stopped, but the boat did not stop???? Must have been interesting from the point of view of the truck's driver and any passengers. It also looks like the rudder and motor mount could have really hit someone on the head.

Followed by one of these expressions:

Son of a gun who would have thought
Dang, I never seen that before
Why does this always happen to me
I read on the internet it would be fine
Shucks That was close.
O boy the wife is going to be mad

Seriously I hope everyone was OK, except for the bruised ego.

No doubt he had to make a panic stop. Probably though he could run the yellow and it turned red too quick. He slammed on the brakes and .... BINGO! Well, at least he didn't get a ticket for running a red light! Maybe they gave him a ticket for "impeding traffic" instead.

Improperly secured load.

no silly. the boat was travelling at about 30 knots when the light turned red. the captain reversed engines in an attempt to stop without any warning to the pickup and trailer behind him. as far as i can tell, the boats brake lights failed to illuminate.

no idea how the captain got the boat out on the main road but i figure maybe he took a wrong turn somewhere.
