    Another, in our micro

Thanks to the many tips & suggestions here, we had another great trip, in our Rubicon 1200rk. (only real issue was the infamous 15amp fuse - I keep a ready supply of them) A few personalization projects in store, but nothing huge.

    The Unofficial Motorcycle Thread!

Basically, the 2008 Venture we had, was just like our '98 RSTD with the addition of fairing, top box, etc. Really enjoyed it & the RSTD (except for the high-end "buzzy" vibration). Unfortunately, after the truck pulled out in front of us, it was all blood, bone, helicopters and a year+ of...

    Our camp mascot

The international signal for a "belly rub request". (he has no shame :ROFLMAO:)

    Our camp mascot

Yep... not our first GSD. One step at a time, watching every nuance of his presentation. He's an eastern workline, with excellent temperament & confidence scores, so we've trained constantly to redirect his goal/prey drive into focus upon my wife and I, reducing distraction. So far, so good.

    Greetings, Earthlings!

We camp at Caledonia frequently, although we stay on the Hossack Loop. Pine Grove Furnace State Park (just up the road from Caledonia) is a nice, smaller & quiet park, as well/

Cowans Gap State Park. It's close by, quiet, and we're quite familiar with it, so we can concentrate on getting accustomed to camper details.

Nice! I have fond memories of flying front seat in my Dad's J-3, as a a small child. (have a tattoo of his aircraft on my back, in his memory)

Larry N.: I see in your avatar a Piper Cub (L4?). You? Caught my interest, as my father solo'd in a Cub in '38, later flew L4s as artillery spotter during WW2.

No problem! I've got multitudes of concerns I could indulge. Not going expend resources getting into a kerfluffle over a forum avatar.

    Greetings, Earthlings!

We, most likely, will in the future. Wife & I hang out in Gettysburg, quite frequently. (we frequently hop on the 'cycle to have the world's best onion soup, at Dobbin House)
