    Too bad that RM is a company that cares little about its customers and don't provide updates to their top units after a couple of years $300.00 plus for the 7725 and now no support for 5 years now. My next unit will be a Garmin.

    Garmin and DeLorme are two pioneering companies in the GPS field. I ran Delorme street atlas on a laptop with a serial port garmin GPS in the 90's. Garmin and DeLorme are now the same company and I wish they still did Street Atlas.

    Google maps won't tell you bride heights and weight ratings of bridges. and Rand McNally only supports it's products a couple of years that is their Idea of lifetime

    Rand McNally will screw you on the updates when the unit is a few years old. Don't say you were not warned

    I have a 7725 with "Lifetime Maps" not so lifetime for a $300.00 + unit I will never buy or recommend anything Rand McNally sells to anyone. The maps stopped about 4 years ago and support basically said screw you for believing that lifetime meant more than a couple of years. My older Garmins are...

    I don't know about the RV unit but my NuVi which is older than my 7725 is still getting maps twice a year
