    I think a little longer than 19" is fine with us, like 24", and a permanent bed sounds great, but the reason for wanting smaller is simply that we intend to use the RV predominately in National Parks. We are currently busy researching the hundreds of remote scenic drives across the continent...

    Yes, I've noticed that. My wife will be delighted if there is a permanent bed !! I think around 22-25ft would be fine but nothing longer than that I hope.
