Well, didn't have trace words. The switch runs the outside side lights, ( look like big, round fog lights). Learning every day on the rv.

That is what I was afraid of. You do have to love a mystery. Just thought maybe someone would have some thing similar. Thanks for all the suggestions. The hunt is on, for this mystery anyways.

That button I have on the other side of the steering wheel, labeled starter boost, along side the lights and wipers knobs.

I don't have any wires running to the mirrors. I do know it is wired to something,( the light comes on in the switch when flipped) just can't figure out what. Tracing wires looks like it is going to be a life long task.

Yes, we staying traveling 3yrs so in a1976 dodge house car till the engine problems got to be too much for us. So now we have a91 bounder that we are working some problems out on.
