Would be affective if you could hook up an alarm you could activate remotely. Bill

    Panic Stop 🛑

Travlling through Salt Lake City a few years back, when an old van towing a trailer with all their belongings in the next lane to our diesel pusher, decided to change lanes without looking. I slammed on the brakes and pulled the steering wheel to the left. I missed him by inchs. For the next...

    Winterizing partly full black tank?

Good for you for finding a solution. Now a days, it is almost impossible to find someone to replace or repair a black tank.

    Fridge Not working

We have a Norcold fridge in our 2005 fiver that is parked in Arizona for 6 months at a time unoccupied with the fridge turned off. When we return in October, the fridge takes a good 3-4 days to get cold after no use for the 6 months. That said, It still works really well after the 4 days.

    Which way to tow?

We towed our 2004 Honda CR V for 7 years without a problem. I purchased most of the towing parts on eBay. tow bar, Brake Buddy, and cables. Saved quite a bit of money, and sold all the tow parts again when we sold our coach.

    2005 Monaco Knight

I had a Holiday Rambler, kind of the same family as Monaco. It had the water leak in the awning channel as Gary described. I just gave it a good caulking in the channel and all was good again, no more leak.

    Knock-Knock

We hear a knock on the side of our trailer often. What it is is the small strap for the awning tapping against the outside wall when it is windy. Might have a look at that. If that is it, you may be able to tuck the strap loop in, under the awning to cancel the knocking. Bill

    Bounder 2006 38N

Our friend in the rv park we are in, here in Arizona has the exact same coach and she loves it. I have driven it and enjoyed it. I did not fine it overly powerful, but that was compared to my ISL 400 Holiday Rambler.

    Unhooking Battery Hooking up Battery

One helpful hint. Before disconnecting any cables, take a picture of all the connections from above the batteries so you can easily hook up later on. Helped me.

    Water filter

I used to use those blue bottle Camco filters from Walmart here in Arizona, and whenever I would drain the water heater in our fifth wheeler, I would get a bunch of big chunks of calcium flushing out. I switched to the Culligan RV 700 bottle filter and the amount of calcium chunks were way down...

    Motorhome height

I measured our Holiday Rambler and it was right on 12'6" to the top of the air conditioner. Also printed out the Metric measurement on the dash for driving in Canada.

    Solenoid

I lost all dc power one time and the experts in the park tracked it down to the solenoid by the battery. Took it into NAPA ready to buy a new one. Ready to pay and the guy at the counter said, "do you know there is a reset switch on the side of your solenoid"? Long story short reset the old...

    Oil change in new RV

If you do not change the oil before your trip, how many miles do you think will be added on your trip to Florida and back. That may push it over the 10,000 mark, probably will. So you may want to change oil before you leave.

small flies coming up through the sewer tanks

We would leave our trailer in Arizona in the spring and return in the fall. Our water pressure would then be low. Found out we were not plugging the hose connection on the side of the trailer and flies would enter there and die and plug the water line. Bought some new plugs and all is well...
