Being I plan to pay for mine tomorrow via a nice guy I met in Mo. I'll have mine soon & remember the zip tie thing. Thanks.

    Dinghy tow options?

No I'm talking about a basic driving deal where you can feel a drag? Not a break away issue.

    Dinghy tow options?

I actually did see something about this on line in a video & it explained that one good stomp on the brakes should release it? Yet if i felt anything I would of course get out & look?

    Dinghy tow options?

Thank you for your opinion, being this what I wanted, to hear the good & potential bad & this helps me decide what way to go. FYI I'm pretty much set on the ReadyBrake. :D It would only be for towing the Honda CR-V on some trips probably once a year, otherwise I have my open car trailer for...

    Dinghy tow options?

I've been looking into this & been upset at the price they cost . But then today while surfing around I found this! http://www.readybrake.com/brake-systems.html Looks awesome & at 1/2 the price of the lower end electric offerings.. I'm seriously considering this option. What are your...

    Full car trailer or dolly?

My Dodge is a '97 5 speed 4x4 5.9 cummins club cab dually. & the exhaust brake is definitely on my list of things to get done soon & even if an auto trans, what difference does that make? I would want to exhaust brake anyways .

    Full car trailer or dolly?

What rules out using a dolly? Its NOT a All Well drive like a Subaru. Please give me link to something that explains what your saying because I doubt your right if the front wheels are not moving the rears should just free wheel like when its simple being led around in normal drive mode =...

    Full car trailer or dolly?

Yes the CR-V is the real time 4wheel drive version & I've been wonder about dolly towing that version. It's basically a front wheel drive & the way it works is as the car senses slippage it kicks in the rear to help out. But in normal operation it is front. I'm thinking due to budget, for my...

    Full car trailer or dolly?

Did you swap to an in closed trailer because of car damage with an open one? Most of what I'll be towing are my 4x4's & I don't worry about them much.

Pictures of your TC pulling trailers

I'm gonna start pulling more thing with my TC, being I just got my hitch extension installed & would love to see pics of what you yow. & maybe some explanations as to how it works for you. So far I've only towed my very light boat but soon plan to be towing my Full sized Bronco to the deserts &...

    Full car trailer or dolly?

At this point, I'm not considering the dinghy tow unless I desire to do it without brakes. Yet don't like the idea of my dualls brakes having an additional 6k+ lbs to have to stop. The loaded campers dry weight is almost 3K & the car is probably about 3.400 lbs. so realistically that's about 7k...

    Full car trailer or dolly?

I have a tripped planned this winter & we wanna take our Honda CR-V along to get access to smaller sites & grocery store lots & etc. But I'm torn between towing my full open car trailer behind my truck camper or getting a dolly? I'm wondering what your thoughts are on this? If I get a dolly...
