Take your "new battery" to a Auto Supply store and have it tested. In the last year I've bought two batteries that showed 12-13 volts but not enough amps to do anything. Both were replaced.
My guess is a Red Squirrel, they can and can do a lot of damage. Buy or borrow a small live trap, bate it with some peanut butter, or a rat trap works well also.
I found that when I stored my 5th wheel in a grassy spot, I had a minor mouse problem. Now I store mine at my son's house on a gravel parking area and no problem. I do throw a few blocks of mouse food under the camper they disappear by spring.
I retired from the Coast Guard after 22 1/2 years , worked there as a Chief Machinery Technician. Then 14 years driving a semi and now have 12 years working for my son doing landscaping. Plus a lot of camping.
Assuming you are at a campground, most power pedestals have a separate 15A outlet. Try running an extension cord from the outlet into your camper just for a heater.
System has two thirty-pound tanks Gary. I tapped the regulator with a hammer, and everything started working properly. Not taking any chances and I had a spare regulator and I replaced it. Now everything is working as it should. Thanks for the help and replies.
First off, my propane tanks are full. When I light my stove, I get a low flame and the flame tips are yellow. My water heater will light sometimes, and the furnace will not ignite. I'm thinking the gas regulator has gone bad. What are your thoughts?

My radio quit working after a thunderstorm and lighting strike. It took out the fuses to the converter. After finding the converter fuses the search was on for the radio fuse. Finally, I pulled out the radio and took a cover off. Under a wire harness was the radio fuse.
