    Gray water question

The Sani Con is simply a macerating pump. Water should flow thru it just fine. Why do you have it? The main reason for them is emptying of the black tank by making a slurry, but you don't have a black tank. Are you using the Sani Con to pump the gray water somewhere? (which it will do). Charles

    Trans service

Older transmissions slipped because they had worn clutches and bands. Bands can be adjusted (however the last bands I know of were in Mopar transmissions discontinued in 2007) New transmissions monitor the input and output speeds and time the shifts. As clutches wear you would expect more...

Francis Scott Key bridge, Baltimore, MD

To add to what I wrote. One of my neighbors has a sister that owns a horse farm on Maryland's eastern shore (that chunk of land that Maryland, Delaware and Virginia share) and she is up and down the east coast all the time with a truck and horse trailer and says that 301 is the way to go and...

Take US 13 south from Wilmington and then US 301 to Richmond. You cross bridges at Annapolis and across the Potomac. Charles

    Trans service

Toyotas don't have filters in the transmission, just a screen. One of the guys at work had (may still, we both retired and I haven't kept up with him) a Toyota Privia. Last I saw of it he was approaching a half million miles on it (he used shoe polish to write the mileage, 480K or whatever, in...

    Little Critter

You have to find where it is getting in and seal it off. Otherwise you are just wasting your time "chasing" them/it around. Charles

    Winnebago vectra 04 power problems

You mean start the engine? (not generator?) It sounds like your house batteries are dead. Charles

    RV Recommendations

The 23J or 23H are on the older chassis. (the number is the length in feet) the 24J and 24H are the newer chassis. Sprinters were 2002 to 2006 (Chassis) were known as T1N models (Transporter, 1st gen, New) These are identifiable by the single wide louver in the hood (heat/A/C intake) and the...

    RV Recommendations

Winnebago View and Itasca Navion (same MH) and the Gulfstream Mini Cruiser (a near copy of the View) do fit the bill. I had a '07 View on the '06 Dodge/Sprinter chassis. Finally got rid of it, just didn't fit my way of traveling. I also had issues with the reliability of the early Sprinter. The...

    Recurring ignition switch problem

Gee, I've never had a lock tumbler fail. Same locks. '91 Ranger with 320K, Pontiac Vibe with 285K, others with similar amounts of mileage. I had one ignition switch fail, my '70 Mustang many years ago. It would start and then quit. Did that until I realized it had lost the run detent, and was...

    national marlin headlights

Pics might help. Many older (and even newer) class A's used headlights from a automobile or truck (or the aftermarket replacement version of it) and you can google the DOT number on the face of the light to possibly figure out what it came from. Taillights are the same way. I saw a new diesel...

how hard it is to back in covered park 12 feet wide when the RV is 8 feet wide

My trailer is 8 ft wide +, I'll admit I am no good at backing. However, I can get it where I want it, without dinging anything. The other day on the trip to Lake Charles, I took the trailer to the dump station and brought it back to the site. I had left the chocks in place and I managed to get...

    Your future EV may need…ATF

Deutz, noted for their air cooled diesels, also makes oil cooled diesels. At work, our Wollard lift trucks were powered by them. I think the belt loaders were, also. Charles
