not really interested in picking up HD in the camper. Just want to pick up 110/119. If I upgrade to the Dish HD receiver. I will be able to use the Dish500 Dish and get all the chanels I am currently getting? Our locals have yet to be picked up in HD by DishNetwork.

I have been putting off buying a HDTV because I don't want to buy a new dish for the camper. Can I use my Dish500 dish, that I have in the camper with a 711 HD receiver? If I have to buy a HD dish for the camper, is it harder to lock the signal when setting up ?

Finally got a chance to work on my dish yesterday and it was the skew that had been knocked out of adjustment. Thanks for everyones imput and advice.

Doesn't sound like the coolsat is worth it. Sure don't want to pirate anything. Didn't OJ get in trouble for that?  ;D

Thanks for all the input. I will work on it this weekend. Sounds like some well educated advice. I have been wondering about a FTA reciever. I have looked at coolsat on the internet but I don't understand exactly what channels I might be able to get. Can someone explain these units too me?

Last Thursday was very windy and it blew my satellite dish over(I use a tripod when camping). Now I can only tune into 119. It also says it is picking up 126 but I need 110. I have a Dish 500 using a 522 receiver and I need 119 and 110 to get all my channels. I am not sure if my 110 LNB was...

when cranking down the rear stabilizers I usually crank them down right before I hit level then use the power front legs to put pressure on them and bring the rig to level. Never more than a half notch on the bubble. Does anyone else use this method?

Hello all, looking for input on stoppin' the rockin'. I am looking to stabilize the 5er but as us Southerners say, they are a might proud of those JTs'. I am ready to install something similar. I am just lookin for the chapest alternative. Thanks to all, John

Yes, I am referring to caulking the edges of my roof and around the vents. How long will this take? How much $$ Dicor will I need? I assume that like painting it is the preparation that really is important and takes up the most time.

Yesterday I noticed that one of the orange reflector face plates had fallen off one of my clearance lights on the top left had side of my Fiver. I went to my manufacturers web site but didn't see any parts catalog. Should I call them? The place I bought my 5er from says they could match it up...

I will be camping at a site with no hookups. Usually it takes us about 5 or so days to fill the black tank 2/3rds. Really don't want to break camp to dump.
