More parks are starting to restrict the use of generators, at least around these parts. The provincially run parks are now running pilot projects on only allowing generators to run for 2 hour windows twice a day. The national parks already do this.

I did just get some info from the rv tech I’ve used. He said in a case like this, silicone the crap out of it in addition to the clamps. If it doesn’t work, he said I’ll have to replace the tank. Loctite makes some stuff that supposedly works between abs and poly but no long term guarantees...

I’m liking this idea of clamping it. I wonder if clamping after though might be best? If I clean everything up, tape and dope the fitting, screw it together and then clamp? Would allow the clamp to squeeze the dope and threads together to maybe seal things up better? One clamp high, one low...
