Try Davidson River campground (US Forest Service) near Brevard.  Good fly fishing on the Davidson River.

We will be driving from Zion to Duck Creek on Hwy. 14.  I'm planning to take 14 for a more scenic drive even with the grades and curves; although I could take Hwy. 20 and come up 14 to Duck Creek on the east side.

How is 143 east of the Cedar Breaks area?  Looks like the worst part of 143 is west of Brian Head.
