    Toads… Chevy or Honda?

I have thought about the car carrier instead and I just may end up going that route.

    Toads… Chevy or Honda?

The Equinox is getting worn and I've heard terrible things about them once they are over the 100k mile mark. So mine is making me nervous. I'd hate to spend the money getting it set up then it crap out on me. That 2013 Honda is no longer available. I've been researching on a good towable and...

Can Anyone Identify What Series This Is?

If I'm not mistaking, it might be a Four Winds Five Thousand. Look closely at the picture... does it say Five Thousand under Four Winds? I found this looking for pictures for you online. It may help you if you remember her floor plan. https://www.ebay.com/itm/283805413251

    Toads… Chevy or Honda?

Should I keep my current paid for 2014 Chevy Equinox with 103k miles and add tow hookups to it or sell it and buy a 2013 Honda CRV with 62k miles and add tow hookups to it??? What would you do??

Where to sell 1999 HR Imperial

My late father's succession is finally complete and we are ready to sell his motorhome. It is a 1999 Holiday Rambler Imperial 38'. The problem is a few months after installing 3 new batteries and replacing the inverter/converter it started making a loud noise so my sister unplugged it. Now...

    2005 Honda CRV

Would you buy a 2005 Honda CRV with 160k miles, no ac (compressor), and a small oil leak for $3000? I'm looking for a toad and this came up locally. It does not have any towing equipment so I'd have to have those installed as well. I'm not sure if there is anything else wrong with it, just...

    2003 Honda Pilot Toad Newbie

Thanks Gary, Ex-Calif and everyone else for responding! I love the info from all of you guys! I guess it's time to think about selling the Pilot and getting something lighter.

    2003 Honda Pilot Toad Newbie

We have dogs so we’d like to get a toad. Been RVing without one for nearly 12 years so it’s time😀

    2003 Honda Pilot Toad Newbie

Thanks Gary! I get what you’re saying. I’m trying to figure it all out but I can’t remember where I saw the 18,500. I’ll have a look again when I get back home.

    2003 Honda Pilot Toad Newbie

I think my GCWR numbers were wrong.... My GCWR should be GVWR 12,500 + GTW 8000 = 20,500, not 18,500 as originally thought, correct? If so, then that leaves me with 2050lb wiggle room with the Pilot toad weight. I know I still have to lower the weight on Maggie - we are over by 80 lbs. Am I...

    Beds on slides

I have 24' Class C with the layout you posted above. The bottom quarter of the bed does fold up on itself but I can leave all the sheets on, lay it back down and just tuck the flat sheets and blanket back under. It's really not that bad and I'm fine with it. The problem I have is that the...

    2003 Honda Pilot Toad Newbie

Yes, the weight of the coach included all of that plus us and the dogs. We were on our way to a trip and stopped to get weighed. We were not towing. I can definitely do a weight loss program on the coach and one of the dogs just started their own weight loss program, 😆 so that may help. I...

    2003 Honda Pilot Toad Newbie

That’s my concern too. For now it would be flat interstate about an hour from home. But long term I’m thinking I’ll have to get something lighter. I just hate letting this toad go knowing it’s already set up.

    2003 Honda Pilot Toad Newbie

Yes, that's the paper that I found in his glovebox and in the console. I typically drive 60-65 mph, so I'm good there. Thanks!
