    Thermocouple for old Magic Chef fridge

    Thanks to those that replied. We have looked at the universal ones...they seem to be mostly made for gas furnaces /stoves and the fitting too big for our gas valve. Will keep looking tho. Have talked by phone to appliance parts distributors with no joy. Will keep trying there as well. Good...

    Thermocouple for old Magic Chef fridge

    Hi everyone, I have an oldie Magic Chef fridge model R50/51. I need a new thermocouple and have searched everywhere for a part # with no success…I think it’s no longer available. Does anyone know if the universal ones will fit, or any suggestions? Thank you
