    RVing with pets

Thanks for that tip, Alaskansnowbirds.  The trailer has been prepared for winter storage and is parked across town at my parents' house---they used to have a motor home and have a large gravel pad next to the garage.  This saves space in our meager garage for our other wheels beside the...

    RVing with pets

Marsha/CA wrote, in part: "We travel with 2 cats without any trouble at all.  However, the first day they are a little queezy.  Although we have "boondocked" on several occasions, during the summer heat we make sure we are at a spot with hook-ups so we can keep the A/C on for them.  We are...

Summer heat, and in particular, summer humidity, is MUCH less of an issue here in the beeyootiful Pacific NW.  But we have other problems:  forest fire danger becomes VERY high late in the season, and rain and even snow can ruin things without much warning.  Had a friend who was snowed out of...

    Tent Trailer Storage Question ...

One suggestion would be to go to Camping World or any good RV parts/service vendor and buy a bucket of silicone dessicant.  Put it in the middle of the floor and then close up the unit.  It helps. You didn't say whether your pop-up has a roof vent.  If so, and the rig's in an enclosed, roofed...

    Hi

Congratulations on your new Niagara!  Spouse and I recently bought a Sun Valley, although the wife had her eye on a Niagara.  The main problem was its length--the Niagara would not fit in our somewhat undersized garage, whereas the Sun Valley would.  A Saratoga (another in the Highlander series)...

"G' was meant to be "Grandpa," but computers and I often do not see eye to eye.  I'm sixtyish, recently retired, same with my wife.  We are on our third pop-up, having owned an Apache Mesa of uncertain vintage, purchased used for a song and worth about that much, a 1989 Coleman Chesapeake, much...
