    Brakes or leveling jacks?

I may have been mistaken about the light being yellow. I wrote that post from memory. The things you listed is exactly what I've been looking for. A list of what the house batteries affect. Any information I've found online so far assumes you have house batteries. Of the things you listed, we...

    Brakes or leveling jacks?

Thanks for the info. I bought the RV used and have yet to find an owners manual anywhere on board or online. I've checked the fluid in the reservoir you mentioned. It's full and the fluid is clean and appears to be viable. According to the manual on the company website that Kirk posted I have a...

    Brakes or leveling jacks?

I've been thinking about it. When I turned the ignition I turned it all the way back towards me which should be ACC position, nothing happened. No lights anywhere on the dash or the Jack panel. I turned it away from me to the RUN position before anything came on. Then I did my test from there...

    Brakes or leveling jacks?

So, Parking Brake - On Ignition Switch - ACC Panel switch - On (light=red) Level up button doesn't work. Level down doesn't work. I guess the next thing is to get the multimeter out and see if the actuators are getting a signal.

    Brakes or leveling jacks?

Thanks for this! It answers a few questions. There's also a tutorial video on the website on how to operate the system. I've been trying to do it with the motor running. According to the video the motor needs to be off and the ignition in ACC. I'll try it again this evening and post my results...

    Brakes or leveling jacks?

I've tried pushing the individual buttons on the panel with no luck. I want to try to make sure there's no switchology or locks or something I'm missing before I start trying to troubleshoot the motor and actuators.

    Brakes or leveling jacks?

Ok, next question. Are the jacks typically locked in the up position? Do I need to crawl underneath and unlock them? I've tried a couple of times to use the autolevel system but nothing happens. I turn it on and I should get a green light. I get a yellow one instead.

    Brakes or leveling jacks?

1993 Firan Ultrastar. Newbie here I'm looking for the reservoir for the leveling jacks on my RV. There's a hydraulic system in the front motor compartment on the driver's side. It has a reservoir tank, four actuators, what looks like an electric motor and four hydraulic lines coming out of it...

Going Postal, has anyone else experienced this?

It rang for quite awhile before someone picked up. Speaker phone is a great feature. I dial the number, turn on the speaker, set the phone down and let it ring while I do other stuff..

I spent a couple of weeks trying to find a place. RV Parks around here won't allow an RV that's more than 10 years old. Although it doesn't look too bad for it's age, it's not in pristine condition. That didn't help. We have pets so that severely narrowed our options. It quickly became apparent...

Thanks Gary, When we first moved onto the lot we didn't have power for the first couple of weeks. In 90 degree heat it was pretty miserable. At some point I tried to start the generator but when I hit the start switch nothing happened. Later I read that the house battery was needed to start it...

    What does this switch do?

I tried this last night and it didn't do anything. (me being diappointed) >

We have a little mini-fridge we had for a couple of years before we bought the RV. It's about half the size of the RV's but it's come in quite handy. We have it plugged in outside sitting on the patio. Ok, first question involves house batteries. My RV didn't have any when i bought it. I'm...

Going Postal, has anyone else experienced this?

I grew up in a small town where the streets had no names (I think that's a song) we just named the houses I think they went by the original owners "the Mills house" "the old Kane house" "The Eads house".

What Did You Do To Your RV This Week?

I got the sewer hooked up and the awning extended. I troubleshooted (shot?) the water heater but didn't learn much except the igniter is getting power. Oh yeah, and I joined this forum if that counts.
