The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an RV or an interest in RVing!
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
For light wi fi use like email, looking up directions and making reservations I use a King Wi-Fi Extender KWM 1000. It is a repeater that boosts the park wi fi and re-broadcasts it in the RV. It has antennas that stick up like your router at home and can be connected to an external antenna if...
The "C" shaped plastic molding that keeps the washer hoses from flopping around is cracked and damaged. Does anyone know of a replacement. The coach is a 2005 Winnebago Adventurer with pantograph wipers. The molding fits over the back part of the upper part of the arm to secure the hose. It...
Does anyone know if this would be safe to use with a Toad? I have a drop adapter from the receiver and then the Blue Ox Tow Bar. All of these joints make for a very sloppy fit. It would be nice to tighten them up, especially in traffic.
I use RV Trip Wizard. It is a paid service with a fairly steep learning curve, but I used it to plan a full cross country trip and found it the most useful of all the other ones out there. You can move easily between maps, reviews of campgrounds and actual campground websites. It also lets...
I live in the area and would take I-10 all the way to I-15 then into Vegas. Plan on extra time for traffic, this is So California, but the road is good all the way.
I'm not sure if this is the same thing, but on my MH I have a little arm that would hit the motorhome and stop the awning from opening if something failed in the awning mechanism while the slide is closed. Once the slide is open, it can turn without hitting the sidewall.
My daughter & son-in-law had that floor plan and they hated it. The bed is very hard to make and feels very small with the bunk above it.
Also, if you use the bunk beds, there is almost no where to store clothes for a family.
I think most people make the mistake of buying too small of a unit...
I lived in my travel trailer several years off & on for work. Had 2 tanks that I could remove, never let more than one get low. In the winter it was a weekly trip to the propane place, even in California.
If you have good power, electric heaters help.
I realize this thread is a year old, but I am just starting out on my first cross country trip since I got Direct TV. I chatted with them and they gave me a link to the application for DNS. It looks like I need a separate account for my RV.
My questions are
Do you currently have network...
We are going to work our way across I-40, we have seen most of the western part, so the goal will be to get to the caravan. On the way home, we want to see the Midwest, Black Hills & Mount Rushmore. We have been as far as Yellowstone, so we want to focus east of there.
We haven't planned this...
Thanks guys,
We retired last year and are looking to visit some places we have never had time to go to. Taking our time and having someone show us things we wouldn't find on our own is part of the plan, so sit sounds like this trip is going to be OK for us.
I found some google reviews and...
Thanks Gary.
We did a Good Sam tour to Baja California many years ago, so we understand. . Normally we like the freedom of just doing our own thing, but this time, we are looking for a break in the middle of our trip to let someone else do the work.
I'll research Great American Caravans LLC...
