Do I get an award or something???

Onerlef, maybe you should go back to look at the history books. We had troops in Asia from 1941. Ed

Do I get an award or something???

Just because you Americans didn't enter WWII until 1941, it began September 1939 when the rest of the world were fighting the Axis powers. Ed

    Best Rout to Myrtle Beach

Going 81 to 77 will have one long grade on I77 between 81 and Charlotte, but it won't be too bad if you take it slowly. And the other problem is that 81 has a lot of truck traffic and the are not courteous, so you will get tied up in long lines of 18 wheelers. Ed

    Best Rout to Myrtle Beach

It is a long way from Windsor to Cornwall, so the question of the best route could vary depending on where in ON you live. However, the main routes south would be I75 from Windsor/Sarnia, or I90 & then I79. You will hit some hills toward the Shenandoah Valley (I81) but the interstate system...

    Refugee from RV.net

Welcome to the forum. Wednesday evening there is a virtual campfire where we sit and chat for around an hour. It starts at 7 PM Eastern, and the easiest was to enter is to go to the string site and somewhere near 7 the moderator will post a reminder which contains an icon to click on. As with...

    What name to be called

As a side note, our East Indian neighbours and all of their community's children referred to every Indian adult as aunt and uncle. Ed

We'll let other provide their advice about what you should be called. However, Donna and I want to send along our heartiest CONGRATULATIONS. For what it's worth, our grandkids just added Great to both Grandmother & Granddad for our parents. Ed

I just tried and successfully logged into the chat room using my saved link. So it appears they fixed whatever was the problem. Ed

    Tracking down owner's manual?

You could try PMing Matt_C he has an antique GM RV, and he has a lot of contact with people who RV in older GM RVs. To do that hit the envelope icon on the top right, type in his name and send him what you need. He will get an email and a notice the next time he logs into the forum. Ed

    Clearwater Florida plane crash

Late yesterday there was further information about the crash. Apparently the planed left Vero Beach, which is on the Atlantic Coast about 150 mile east of the crash site. There were 9 ladies who were at the mobile for supper following a golf game, all but one left after the meal, and that one...

    Clearwater Florida plane crash

It is a Mobile & Modular park and I don't recall any RV's permanent or snowbird set up there. It is considered a high end location and many of the homes are along the water of Tampa Bay. It is very near the Clearwater Costco, and next to a higher end golf course. We drive past it no less...

    Poop pyramid troubles

I thought that I was past worrying about PPs, but my son in law had a hernia operation and part of my daddy do list was to winterize their Hybrid TT. This is their first year owning an RV with a black tank and they had forgotten that I told them to flush it out after dumping. Well, after about...

    Nova Scotia to Florida-Best Routes

Unfortunately the Cat only runs in the summer, so it won't be running in March. Plus it is very expensive, however if you want a ferry, there is one from Digby to Saint John which is a bit less expensive, but doesn't save you much time. As Rene said, it is not likely worth the 400 mile...
