Puma 26FKDS Dual Holding Tanks Confusion

It’s brand new off the lot. Unfortunately it’s back on the lot after a few shakeout weekends before we hit it hard this summer so I can’t get pictures. Both the front and rear hose connections have black and grey valves with different sized pipes leading to it. It’s the same as the single set up...

Puma 26FKDS Dual Holding Tanks Confusion

I don't have a picture of the unit specifically, but it's two dual valves just like this one. This is the same setup we had on our previous trailer with just two holding tanks. I now have two of these, one in the front and one in the rear. I only have one black tank and two black valves.

Puma 26FKDS Dual Holding Tanks Confusion

Our 26FKDS has two outlets for the tanks. It is a front kitchen set up with a middle bath, and an option for a washer and dryer in the rear closet. I just can't seem to figure out the correct process for dumping these tanks. The front connection is well under the main slide and nearly...

    Do I Need A Generator?

I’ve done a little more digging. Seems as though it’s a 50W panel. The unit is in the shop right now for some punch list things so I can’t confirm the battery. I do know though that it’s only one which is tongue mounted. It was hard to find too much information, but most seems to be that it’s...

    Do I Need A Generator?

Looking to go dry camping in a couple of weekends. A friend has offered a generator but I’m not sure we really need it… We are thinking of using the unit more as a hard sided tent. We have a propane griddle for cooking. Limited overhead LED light use. Some phone charging. The biggest draw is...

    Grey Tank Bathroom Sink Geyser!

So we've been out twice in our new TT and trying to figure out what might be going on. If we have some water in the kitchen sink for dishes, maybe 2-3", then release that water when we are done, sometimes it burps out of the bathroom sink up probably 20-24" and gets everything wet! We THINK...

New TT - Cable TV Issue

Yah, just hitting prime season for us as teachers to start using it this summer so I’ll track it down. Just wanted to get some insight to be sure it wasn’t something silly I was missing. I’ll check the connections first and be sure they are all good and tight. Maybe it’s as easy as the main box...

New TT - Cable TV Issue

We took our new Grey Wolf out for a shake down this weekend and all in all things seemed to work out well for us! Before we left home we hooked up our TV to the over the air antenna, turned the booster on, got a decent number of channels. Got to campsite, tried the OTA and didn't get many where...

Trailer "backup" camera help please - non wired solution.

If you are wanting to do wireless would something like this for your needs? It wouldn’t play on the same head unit of the truck but that might be better. Does your current screen broadcast even while you are driving? It doesn’t change to audio or map or something else? We have this on our...

Does length matter? (Get your mind out of the gutter.)

We just picked up our TT and I was kinda looking at it compared to my sons 16' enclosed landscape trailer. One thing that I noticed is that the TT has more length behind the axles and the distance from the hitch to the axle is somewhat comparable. My point, and I could be wrong, is that the...

Help choosing camper for family of 5!

Forest River/Cherokee/Grey Wolf might have a few options for you to look at. They have a double bunk in the back and a Q in the front. They push your weight just a touch based on what you were wanting to tow. There are really a plethora of 'options' depending on wants/needs. It may be...

    Water Hoses - which one?

Just an FYI - All collapsible hoses are not created equal. We picked this one up at HD and didn't even get one use out of it. Loved that it was so compact and would coil up small. I didn't realize that only one end of it was metal and the end you attach to the supply was plastic. The first time...

Air in water line at the toilet only. The toilet is a Thetford.

I'm not sure if you are still watching this thread or not. We just picked up our Grey Wolf this weekend and it also has a Thetford toilet. On ours, the water flows as more of a dribble after the pedal is lifted up. It isn't under pressure any longer and it is more like the supply line is...

So how did the inspection turn out? Any luck with the negotiations?

    Connecting electrical- FOUR PLUGS?

Very cool! Just spent some time checking out their site since you mentioned it. Now I'd like to see some interior pics of the trailer! The site had some specs on current trailers with fairly large onboard generators. Does yours have a large generator too? Maybe those are just outlets wired...
