    LCI Electric Leveling Glitch

Went to use auto level today and both front jacks would not extend all yhe way. They stayed 4 inches off the ground. Retracted and tried auto again, same thing. Rear were fine. Used manual and they extended fine. The site is level but not perfectly level. I have been using the auto levels...

    Converter Replacement

I ended going with a 3 stage 55amp converter - it works great...  Now I just have to leave it plugged in and see if my batteries are toast from the old convertor frying them. It was as easy as changing a light bulb. Jay

Check engine light just came on

Your issue definitely sounds confusing...  However the last time my Engine light came on it was the O2 Sensor.  I am sure your problem is not from the O2 Sensor - however I thought I might throw that in the conversation. Jason

    Converter Replacement

Thanks guys - good tips - I think I will go with the 65 amp unit - up from the old 55amp - Simply because I have 3 batteries in the house compartment. Unfortunately I think the converter has killed all 3 of my batteries - as they were full last week - yesterday they were dead left plugged in...

    Converter Replacement

My problem is we dry camp alot in the summer at provincial parks.  So after a few days...  The batteries are down to half and we have to run the generator for an hour per day to keep up. You think that the bigger amps will assist in getting more power to the batteries in a shorter period of...

    Converter Replacement

ok, well that makes sense - Since I have a 55 in there now a 65 should be better - I now have 3- 12 volt house batteries. I would imagine the 65 would charge them up faster as well. The unit came with 2 house batteries installed Thanks for the response Jason

    Converter Replacement

I have the original 55 amp converter in my 99 fourwinds windsport 30Q.  I have gone through 3 batteries in 2 years. They are boiling over due to me leaving the unit plugged in during the Winter.  I no longer leave it plugged in. Anyway - I am wanting to replace the converter with a 3 stage...

    RV Furnace Problem

Recently my Atwood furnace in my 99 Fourwinds Windsport class A has been really weak blowing hot air through the vents.  It doesn't matter if we are plugged in or on battery power.  Because it is barely blowing, the furnace stays on longer and the fan rarely shuts off - then the batteries die...

What is your most embarressing RVing moment

Had my sewer hose clamp break when I pulled the black water.  Black water from my knees down; filled my flip flops.  My wife handed my a plastic bag with new clothes. Now I only use rhino hoses. Jay

    NEW LP Installation Problem

Problem solved !  I looked in the original owner's manual - under the electrical diagram it showed that the LP detector was under the only 1 amp fuse; pulled the fuse to discover it was actually blown.  Replaced and LP Detector works!!!! Thanks for the 2 comments I received. Jason
