In twenty years of full timing, I have only had one failure of a hose fitting. This was in the water bay of the motor coach. I won't say this is typical of all rigs but failures are usually due to excess pressure from some campsites. I use an adjustable pressure regulator that I can set at...

You can fill the tank with water and try each of the methods to heat it. The gas side might be fine but the electric side might be damaged. If so, it probably will be the heating element. That is an easy fix.

We are now working for our sixth year in Yellowstone. I try to thank all veterans I see in our store for their service. I do point out that, if they had read the brochure, they would have seen that the Navy provides three hot meals a day, clean racks every night, and free ocean cruises!! ;D I...

It was a nice surprise to see all of you at breakfast this morning at the Old Faithful Inn! One never knows who they will see in this park at any time. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow evening at the happy hour!

Margi, It has become one nightmare with all the visitors we have at YNP now! It doesn't take long for the park to close parking areas so the animals can have a little peace and quiet Consequently, we do not see many of the sitings as we are usually working. We did see a Grizzly Sow and two cubs...

To all that are attending the Yellowstone Rally, Just a caution as the temps might still be pretty low at night. Be sure to have water in your fresh water tank in case the outside feed freezes. To prevent a freeze, if you have an outside shower, place the hose outside the rig and let the water...

Larry N, There are no off road adventures in Yelllowstone. You won't need a Jeep unless you plan on adventures outside the Park. There are a couple of drives out of Cook City in the Northeast area but not worth it if there aren't any other areas you want to explore.
