    My Health

    Due to my health situation, I am no longer able to keep up with my forums.  I may jump in once in a while but will no longer read on a regular basis The combination of IPF and my reduced heart function make it necessary ro reduce my activities.

    We had first hand knowledge of Bob as he spent several nights with us at QZ as well as we with he and his wife at their home.  In addition there were a couple of memorable dinners one in SC and one in NM. We will miss him.  RIP Bob.

    Fridge lost its ammonia. Repair or replace?

    The best solution is to replace with a residential refer.  Better cooling, more reliable and less likely to burn.

    Around west of Portland OR area Beaverton, it is now what traffic.  Nobody it out and about.

    Narrower easy chairs for RV

    The Ekornes chairs come in various widths but they are EXPENSIVE. as are the chairs from the back store but they are all first class and comfortable.

    It would help if you posted the kind of RV you need to do this in as different manufacturers build differently. I can comment on Newmar RVs but not any other recent makes.

    Replacing Carpet with wood flooring throughout

    80mph wind gusts

    Glen Ivy is in the mountains if I remember correctly so check it out.  I think they had fires around them 8 or 10 years ago although it may have been longer.  We used to live about 30 miles away as the crow flies.

    To cover, or not to cover...

    I had our Motor home parked outside for over 10 years and as long as I kept it waxed there was no problem,  I did also use 300 on rubber and other things that the sun could bother like the decals.  Later as I couldn't keep it waxed there was some oxidation and cracking of the deals so 3 or 4...
