Found nicked wire in breaker box.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I pulled the breaker panel out enough to see behind it and there is plenty of wire to pull through and cut and strip to eliminate the bad.

Found nicked wire in breaker box.

Thanks for the reply’s. I’ve got to pull the water heater access panel since it and the breaker panel back up to each other. Here’s hoping there’s enough wire to pull some new out but we all know how that’s probably gonna work. Not sure if there’s room in between for a junction box. Shrink...

Found nicked wire in breaker box.

Hi folks. I’ve got a 2010 Heartland Edge M21 built in late 2010. While replacing the converter, I just happened to notice the main power wire coming into the panel had been nicked when the factory electrician stripped back the Romex sheath. Both the hot(black) and the common (white) have been...

    Converting a toy hauler

We're thinking of upgrading to a 24' or so toy hauler from a 21' Edge. The Edge has the flip down sofa which is awful for comfort. Thinking about taking out the sofas (beds) in the rear of the toy hauler and putting in a couple of recliners. In essence, turning the back into a den like area...

RV parking in St Augustine FL?

We were very pleased with Compass RV Park. Close to town but also is on a trolley stop.

    Emergency Motorhome Driving

I think I'd be finding a place to store the coach for a month or so and jump in the toad with the wife driving. Stop at a motel for the night and keep heading to Dallas.

Tiffin Allegro or Winnebago Vista LX?

I'd go with a smaller unit for you and the wife and a tent for the kids! But then the camp part sounds good too!

Anybody want to rebuild an RV?

With Florence pounding the NC and SC coasts, there are a huge number of RVs that folks have in campgrounds that are put on a site and then moved into storage lots after they leave. Some of those storage lots have hundreds of TTs and FWs. Can't imagine what damage those boxes might have. Probably...

    Looking to replace Edge M-21

We've got an Edge M-21, 2010, that is approaching the 10year limit imposed by some campgrounds we've been in. Looking for ideas for: 21-24 feet, 5,500 gross weight, recliners or theater seating, no jack knife sofa, ducted A/C, full queen, no dinette. Just the 2 of us using it so dont need the...

    Treadmill

One of the smaller toy haulers, either towable or fifth wheel, would give a dedicated space for a treadmill and other gym equipment.

Best Road -- South of Grand Rapids, MI

John-you sure we aren't related? Mom always said she'd rather be 30 minutes early than 5 minutes late and I've tried to be like that myself. I've got some relatives that have no regard for timeliness and I've told my kids that due to me being on time for everything they've had that upon my...
