We have owned both and, in my openion, the 5th wheel setup is less expensive.  The 5th wheel itself was very low maintenance and the 1 ton duely deseal, was more frequent but standard vehicle maintenance.  The motorhome is by far, for us, a better traveling vehicle but motor, transmission, etc...

2004 Monaco Dyansty - Water pressure regulator, the type you just screw on the water hose, appears to be buildt in where the hose connects to the coach.  In some parks water pressure is just too low.  Does anyone know if this can be be removed and replaced with just a regular hose fitting.  I...

Something else to consider is that Country Coach is now owned by National.  From some comments, I've heard that quality has suffered on newer coaches......  I suggest you check with owners of the new National Country Coach and see if things have changed.... just my 2Cents...

I'm new here but .....  I read an article the other day that said to put "bounce" dryer sheets in each compartment and that would deter mice, yellow jackets, and other pests.
