    Jacking Question

Over the winter the right hand valve stems on my TT dry rotted and are leaking. (My fault for not covering wheels and tires) Is it safe for me to use a standard floor jack to jack up the RV from the axle? If not, where is the best place to place the jack? Should I put the stabilizer jack down...

    Generator Question

Thanks for all the replys. I havent really had a chance to investigate it further although in my original post I did fail to mention that it is doing this with nothing plugged into it. Thus no load at all. Sounding more like bad gas or a carb issue

    Generator Question

Hey guys, quick question as the season is nearing. I have a Coleman 3500 genny that we use when elec is not available. During a recent power outage at the stick house it started right up and ran fine with one exception. It "lopes" when the idle control switch is on. Any ideas?

    Propane tank size

A propane tank like you would use for a gas grill is what is called a 20lb cylinder. They do not hold 20 gallons. They hold about 4.2 to 4.5 gallons of propane. Do you have one tank or two? My tt has 2 20lb cylinders. Most have 30 pounders that should hold 6.5 gallons or so. Sounds like you guys...

    No water pressure

Thanks to all. After removing the pump yesterday I noticed that I wasnt getting any water out of the FW tank. It still had a little water in it. So on a whim I took a short piece of hose and connected it to the supply line and blew like the big bad wolf. Water started pouring from the tank...

    No water pressure

Yes the pump worked fine before this. It is a Surflo Model 200. I had the tank full (30 Gallons) so yes it had plenty of water. Did manage last evening to get the pump unhooked and did see that it has a clear filter on the inlet side that had no visible water in it. So my thinking is either it...

    No water pressure

Hi All, Getting ready to go to NASCAR at Martinsville and in preperation for the trip was making sure everything worked....Well I have no pressure when running off the fresh tank. Not even air. There are no leaks and the pump is running fine. Owners manual states that a low battery could be the...

    Prodigy Brake Controller

I had a friend give me one of the above mentioned units. I have a 1999 Silverado 1500 that I will be pulling my tt with. The box has the plug that plugs directly into the back of it but other than that just a black wire, a red a blue and a white. Am I going to have to hardwire this thing to my...

PDF Owners Manual for 1988 Fleetwood Terry Resort

Does anyone know where I can download an owners manual for this tt. I can do it at Fleetwoods web site but like all of you prefer not to pay for if I can find one for free.

    1995 JayCo 1207 Hitch Issue - help??

My pop-up used to do the same thing and my current TT does it on occasion. If you look up into where the tounge slips onto the ball there should be a screw that adjusts the tension. If not usually all it is is that the trailer is unlevel. Chock the wheels and start to barely raise the trailer...

    Hot battery cables

Thanks to all that replied to my post. My original thought was correct. Last owner apperently had wired from the camper to the batteries with 14 guage wire which couldnt handle the load. Upgraded to 8 guage and for a week now no problems. Thanks again. What a great forum!
