    Onan Generator Over Fueling Issue

I had the same problem with an old motorcycle. The problem was dirt in the gas tank getting into the float bowl and not allowing the needle valve to seat, flooding the engine. I solved it by cleaning the needle valve and installing a fuel filter in the gas line.

Someone may buy it for the frame, axle, wheels, and tires. To make a utility trailer.

    Water heater plumbing

That is exactly what I am going to do. I'm installing a ball valve at the top. I already have a brand new one. Thanks Gary. Shopping now for the two thermostats. Today I redid the wiring to what was in place from the factory. Replaced the breaker and the switch.

    Water heater plumbing

More on the water heater saga, things get curiouser and curiouser. Today I decided to check out the electrics. First thing I discovered was the power to the heater was on. With the Circuit breaker off. I found that the last guy had ran a new wire (the yellow romex) to the heater from the circuit...

    Water heater plumbing

Thanks for that info on the electrics. I will get into that today. I am thinking the switch by the kitchen sink controls the W heater but will check it. I wonder if that box with the white romex was for a replaced WH? I'm leaning toward installing either a check valve or a manual valve in the...

    Water heater plumbing

Old Web - good catch on the melted connection. I missed that. I see that fitting in the cold line and have no idea what it is doing there. Maybe keep the heater from draining if pressure is lost? Gary - it looks like about $100 to tear it all out and install a 3 valve system - adding a check...

    Water heater plumbing

More pictures. I added one of a unknown switch box. I have no idea what it might be for. It is dead. Any ideas? I also added pictures of the tubing. I did find out the existing tubing is SDR9 which is the same as PEX so the fittings and tubing will work. I can eliminate the mess and do it...

    Water heater plumbing

I searched and read through all the threads I could find. I still have a question. This 1998 Fleetwood Terry 31G is new to me, bought in late fall last year. As you can see in the photo, the previous owner did some work on the water heater. I tried to winterize it with antifreeze but wasn't able...

    Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone. 52 degrees today in central Wi. Just small patches of snow in the woods left over from last month.

    Electronic critter chasers

For Asian Beetles I use this stuff. It kills them after it dries. It also works great on spiders. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C2TR212/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_2?smid=AEO1HSN5EIGTJ&psc=1

    AGM Battery Maintainer

I know better to enter into a debate on here. I'll just say none of the trickle chargers I owned over the years allowed me to adjust or set the voltage. And it was always a bit higher than a fully charged battery.

    AGM Battery Maintainer

I put the Harley, the Convertible and the Camper battery on chargers over the winter. And head south. My friend is in the battery business and explained things to me. A trickle charger charges the battery constantly, just a little, whether it needs it or not. As Don said, a tender or maintainer...

    Masks now required in Oregon

Misinformation? I disagree. I feel I spoke the uncomfortable truth. Perhaps I shouldn't have done that. It was not my intention to upset the great people on this board.
