Class A -vs- Class C Gasoline

I have also pondered the A versus C question.  Although we haven't pulled the trigger yet, several issues are the same as with a Trailer.  Floor plan and size matter--the rig has to meet your needs.  To be blunt, you are going to spend a lot per mile on gas/fuel so go for your comfort and...

    FORD TRITON V-10

Having towed our Bullet travel trailer over 16k miles, we have talked about a motor home many times.  I have appreciated the number of comments about the Triton V-10 as this was a question I had, as well.  Thanks for the information.

    Camping in Joliet

I have a family event coming in July near Litchfield, Minnesota (Meeker County) and I am having trouble finding a full hookup spot for our 29 foot travel trailer.  Any ideas from the community?

    Charleston, SC Campgrounds

We stayed at Oak Plantation in March of 2015.  It was convenient to area attractions but a little traffic-clogged during rush hour times.  Our site was pretty soggy and, due to a large group meet-up, the washrooms deteriorated quickly over our 4 day stay.

Have you stayed here? (campgrounds in Mt Rushmore/Crazy Horse area)

In September of 2014, we stayed at Custer's Gulch in either site 22 or 23.  Our travel trailer is a 29 footer but a large motor home and some 5 th wheels were nearby.  Nice place, nice people.  Full hookups and we often saw deer in the nearby woods.

    New to the forum

My wife and I are in our 4th year with a travel trailer.  We have already upgraded once, adding 10 feet and 2500 pounds, and are planning increasingly longer trips.  I am looking forward to sharing tips on where to go and how to keep things going smoothly.
