Wheelbase to length ratio - how important?

Excellent feedback. Even my engineer husband agreed to put away his calculator on this one. And, yes, we had used "that guide".

Wheelbase to length ratio - how important?

Opinion please on the new Tribute by Winnebago Itasca

Today we saw the 2015 Winnebago Itasca Tribute 27B. It's the new retro look. http://www.rvguide.com/specs/itasca/class-a/2015/tribute/27b.html We'll test drive it in a couple days. Anyone have an opinion?

Many thanks for all your replies. Flying to Cozumel sounds better all the time.  No. We are still researching RVs and driving to Alaska next year.

    Shopping for RV for Alaska

This forum is already proving very helpful. We had a big class C with no slide-outs in the past. Rather clunky. Have not yet test driven an A. We don't plan to tow a vehicle but we will later tow our sailplane to competitions. Thanks for the feedback.

    Shopping for RV for Alaska

Bucket list for us is to drive FL to Alaska. We're researching RVs. Looking at class C Navion and Class A Winnebago Vista or Itaska products. This forum appears to offer lots of info to help us shop. And if any of you hold opinions on the two brands I've mentioned, it will be helpful.
