Where is the switch? 2009 Destination - Driver's Reading

Ok, we have owned this coach since it was new - 10 years. I'll be darned if I can find the switch to operate the reading light above the Driver's seat. I have turned switches on and off, opened cabinet doors, I can't find it anywhere I checked the bulb and it is good. There is no switch on the...

    AC Circuit Board Finally Arrived

Sorry for the delay in updating - After getting back home from our trip the Motor Home went to the shop. They ran the basement air for two days and it never failed. They did clean the interior and exterior coils and straightened the cooling fins that were smashed. So, we will be in Kerrville in...

    AC Circuit Board Finally Arrived

After replacing my capacitors, the circuit breaker and the circuit board, I still have the intermittent problem with the Compressor #1 breaker tripping. A repair place in Portland, OR that I was going to stop at on my way home from Alaska - told me there is no direct replacement for the 6538-751...

    Basement AC noisy - solution?

I don't have noise yet (other than the norm) from my basement unit, just bad capacitors - Finished the install of a roof top unit a couple weeks ago. From what I have read - I should be able to replace the capacitors without having to drop the unit. Don't mean to hijack a thread - Michael

Hot water side 2005 winnie Sunova ?35N

Yes sir - Pressure tested after getting it back together and had to tighten one fitting that wanted to be a geyser, but nothing unusual http://www.rvforum.net/SMF_forum/Smileys/default/grin.gif

Hot water side 2005 winnie Sunova ?35N

12 inch adjustable wrench did it - had a 15 inch standing by - The hot water side check valve was largely intact, at least the spring and the valve, but no little tabs to hole the valve to the spring. Cold side is another story - All the guts, except for the spring must be rattling around in the...

Hot water side 2005 winnie Sunova ?35N

Thought about torch heat, except that the water heater is covered in foam, plastic water lines and of course wood (under the entertainment center cabinet). I did think about filling the tank with water and then starting the water heater, let it get to temperature and then, after draining all the...

Hot water side 2005 winnie Sunova ?35N

OK, I found the check valves - very easy access - How the heck do I remove them. These are brass and go into what appears to be either aluminum or galvanized fitting on the tank. A 10 inch adjustable wrench did not budge them. A bigger wrench?

Power Gear Hydraulic Jacks - 2009 Destination - Where's the power

Well it is fixed. A $25 Harbor Freight toner and chaser is what helped the most. That isolated connection for the pump is located outside the left rear cabinet and not the outside of the left front cabinet. It is located right above the muffler, and where the Motor Home is sitting it was near...

Power Gear Hydraulic Jacks - 2009 Destination - Where's the power

Searched and not help. 2009 Winnebago Destination 37G. Power Gear hydraulic jacks with spring return.  The switch panel (not the Control Board) shows a low voltage alert and the system does not work. Chassis batteries with engine running has 13.8vdc. According to all diagrams I have found...

    Auto airconditioning

John, Can you explain the leaky duct box? As you know, I have had issues with my dash air for the last two years and $2K plus has not fixed it. You may have found my answer. (KG5UMH)

Timely Topic - 2009 Destination 37G Suffered the check valve failure over the weekend. Good flow on cold, trickle on hot. Turn the bypass and strong flow through the "hot" side of the faucet valve.  Hot water worked fine in the morning and in the afternoon (after driving about 150 miles) hot...
