Do you have a multimeter? If so, just for fun, on the 50 amp power cord NOT connected on EITHER side measure the resistance of each power plug to the neutral and then to ground. Make sure they are open ( overload on digital meter). I happen to have one with a high resistance short from a hot...- mjf55
