Extremely excited about my first Prevost H3-45 Coach!

Hi JT, just came across this thread.  How is your updating going? There are so many components that might need addressing but you sure have a nice looking coach. Who is the original converter? Good luck! Mark

Why do truck stops hate RVers??

At 45 ft. plus the toad, we are a good 65 ft.  In the 11 yrs. that we have been rving, I've never run into a bad situation at a truck stop.  I fuel and then get the heck out of Dodge! In the last couple of years, I signed up for a fuel discount card where we pay at the pump and the charges...

Went from class A to class B in one week

Jubilee, congratulations on the new class B!  ;D  I saw and commented on your other thread.  You move fast!  :o  LOL! Hope that you have many years of enjoyment! Safe travels! Mark

    Figuring cost of travel

Ant21b, the one major thing to consider that you can't put a price on is having your OWN bed! As you go East, fuel prices get a little cheaper.  California is about a $1 more per gallon than TN (have homes in both places).  As of today, reg. fuel is about $2.69 a gallon here in west TN at my...

Sold the MH, feels weird, but...

Jubileee, take a peek at Leisure Travel Vans. I have been looking at class B's and B+'s and ran across Leisure Travel vans.  They are a little wider and still compact.  You actually get a normal size dry bathroom. The front twin bed design has caught my attention (Ford diesel chassis).  I...

    Photos of members' rigs

Absolutely Fender!  'Z's' Dynasty is fantastic!  I've watched his thread where he has updated, repaired and painted his coach, etc.    That is a talent I wish I had but I don't.  Our first coach was a 2008 Monaco Dynasty Diamond IV, 42 ft.  that we kept for 7.5 yrs. and just shy of 70K.  Good...

Here is ours..... We custom ordered the coach in March of 2014 taking delivery in November of 2014.  We have certainly enjoyed it and can't believe we've owned it almost 4 yrs. Mark

DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) in my fuel tank - we're stranded

We use DEF also in our coach and both fillers are behind the same door.  We have duel fills for diesel but the DEF filler is just on the driver's side.  The DEF filler has a large blue cap whereas the diesel has a brass cap.  We hold 230 gallons of diesel and 16 gallons of DEF fluid. It is my...

Something For A Little Bit of Fun

Well, I have to say that I do sit down.  If I have to get up during the night I don't want the light on as it will wake me up.  I can stay in 'sleepy' mode if it's dark so sitting makes more sense and no mess.  ::) And to the OP (original poster), I couldn't figure out what the block was for. ...

    Berkley RV homeless

I know there is not a 'one size' fits all answer.  Quick story (well, maybe not).  ::) A guy that worked for me at my home was responsible for outside maintenance and starting my cars when I was out of town.  He worked great for 7-8 yrs.  Very reliable, he had a nice clientele and stayed...

    Crazy Drivers

In 11 yrs. of RV'ing, I just don't get the excessive speeding either.  We weigh in at 55,500 lbs. plus the toad of 4,200 lbs.  I roll between 55-65 mph depending on the posted speed.  In California, 55 mph is max while towing.  In other States, I'll max out at 65 whether the speed limit is 65 or...
